Orientation
Orientation is organized at two levels: general orientation and academic orientation within the schools and departments. General orientation introduces students to the code of conduct, student rights, academic standing, sports, registration procedures, medical examination, library access, and internship placement.
Academic orientation is conducted by departments to explain courses, program expectations, and career prospects.
Registration Procedures
Payment of registration fees through the official bank procedure.
Verification and validation of receipts by the accountant’s office.
Compulsory medical examination from an approved health facility or MEHIT lab.
Participation in official orientation before classes begin.
Program registration through the Dean’s Office.
Production and collection of the student identity card.
Code of Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves responsibly on and off campus. They must respect staff, fellow students, institutional property, classroom rules, and all official regulations.
- Respect teachers, staff, security personnel, and fellow students.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and order during classes.
- Avoid violence, theft, drugs, alcohol, smoking, harassment, and misconduct.
- Respect dress codes and institutional appearance requirements.
- Protect MEHIT property and maintain campus cleanliness.
Rights, Privileges & Obligations
Students have the right to belong to the academic community, to be examined according to approved rules, and to be heard fairly. These rights come with obligations: respecting institutional authorities, protecting school property, paying fees, observing regulations, and maintaining the good name of the institution.
Examination Guidelines
Students must be duly registered to sit for examinations and must respect all examination instructions. Punctuality, silence, proper identification, and compliance with examination rules are required.
Students must meet attendance and registration requirements.
Communication, cheating, impersonation, and unauthorized materials are prohibited.
Results and transcripts are issued according to academic procedures.
Library & Academic Resources
The library supports study and research for registered students, staff, graduates, and approved academic users. Students are encouraged to use library resources responsibly as part of their academic development.
